The spirit of man

The spirit of man is a circumambient power that encompasseth the realities of all things. Whatsoever thou dost see about thee — wondrous products of human workmanship, inventions, discoveries and like evidences — each one of these was once a secret hidden away in the realm of the unknown. The human spirit laid that secret bare, and drew it forth from the unseen into the visible world. There is, for example, the power of steam, and photography and the phonograph, and wireless telegraphy, and advances in mathematics: each and every one of these was once a mystery, a closely guarded secret, yet the human spirit unravelled these secrets and brought them out of the invisible into the light of day. Thus is it clear that the human spirit is an all-encompassing power that exerteth its dominion over the inner essences of all created things, uncovering the well kept mysteries of the phenomenal world.
The divine spirit, however, doth unveil divine realities and universal mysteries that lie within the spiritual world. It is my hope that thou wilt attain unto this divine spirit, so that thou mayest uncover the secrets of the other world, as well as the mysteries of the world below.

Carl G. Jung Archetypes – The 4 Stages Of Life

Carl G. Jung Archetypes – The 4 Stages Of Life

fgrhby Luminita D. Saviuc

“Thoroughly unprepared, we take the step into the afternoon of life. Worse still, we take this step with the false presupposition that our truths and our ideals will serve us as hitherto. But we cannot live the afternoon of life according to the program of life’s morning, for what was great in the morning will be little at evening and what in the morning was true, at evening will have become a lie.” Carl Gustav Jung

According to the Swiss psychologist, Carl Gustav Jung, there are 4 archetypes, 4 stages that we go through during our lifetime, and these stages are:

1. The ATHLETE Stage

At this stage, we are mostly preoccupied with our looks, with the way our body looks. During this stage we might stay for hours looking and admiring our reflection in the mirror. Our body, our looks are the most important thing to us, nothing else.

2. The WARRIOR stage

During this period, this stage, our main concern is to go out there and conquer the world, to do our best, be the best and get the very best, to do what warriors do, and act like warriors act. This is a stage when we continually think of ways to get more than everybody else, a stage of comparison, of defeating those around so we can feel better because we have achieved more, because we are the warriors, the brave ones.

3. The STATEMENT stage

At this time, this stage in your life, you realize what you have achieved so far is not enough for you to feel fulfilled, to be happy… you are now looking for ways to make a difference in the world, for ways to serve those around you. You are now preoccupied with ways to start giving. You now realize what you chased after until now, money, power, possessions etc. will keep on appearing in your life but you no longer attribute them the same value as before, you no longer are attached to those things because you are now in a different stage of your life, where you know there is more to life than that. You receive them, you accept them and you are grateful, but you are ready to let go of them at any time. You are looking for ways to stop thinking only about yourself, of ways to receive and start focusing on living a life of service. All you want to do in this stage is give. You now know that giving is receiving and it is time for you to stop being selfish, egotistical and self-centered and think of ways to help those in need, to leave this world better than it was when you arrived.

4. The Stage of the SPIRIT

According to Jung, this will be the last stage of our life, a stage where we realize that none of those 3 stages are really who and what we are. We realize we are more than our body, we are more than our possessions, more than our friends, our country and so on. We come to the realization that we are divine beings, spiritual beings having a human experience, and not human beings having a spiritual experience. We now know this is not our home, and we are not what we thought we are. We are in this world but not of it. We are now able to observe ourselves from a different perspective. We are now capable to step out of our own mind, out of our own body and understand who we really are, to see things the way they are. We become the observer of our lives. We realize that we are not that which we notice but, the observer of what we notice.

2500 years ago, Lao Tzu (abt.551-479 BCE) was trying to teach us just that, was trying to teach us how to get to this last stage of life, this spiritual stage: “Can you step back from your own mind and thus understand all things? Giving birth and nourishing, having without possessing, acting with no expectations, leading and not trying to control: this is the supreme virtue.”

Is physical world subject to any limitations?

0x600

“As to thy question whether the physical world is subject to any limitations , know thou that the comprehension of this matter dependeth upon the observer himself. In one sense, it is limited; in another, it is exalted beyond all limitations. The one true God hath everlastingly existed, and will everlastingly continue to exist. His creation, likewise, hath had no beginning, and will have no end. All that is created, however, is preceded by a cause. This fact, in itself, establisheth, beyond the shadow of a doubt, the unity of the Creator.
Thou hast, moreover, asked Me concerning the nature of the celestial spheres. To comprehend their nature, it would be necessary to inquire into the meaning of the allusions that have been made in the Books of old to the celestial spheres and the heavens, 163 and to discover the character of their relationship to this physical world, and the influence which they exert upon it. Every heart is filled with wonder at so bewildering a theme, and every mind is perplexed by its mystery. God, alone, can fathom its import. The learned men, that have fixed at several thousand years the life of this earth, have failed, throughout the long period of their observation, to consider either the number or the age of the other planets. Consider, moreover, the manifold divergencies that have resulted from the theories propounded by these men. Know thou that every fixed star hath its own planets, and every planet its own creatures, whose number no man can compute.” Baha’u’llah

Why Grounding Is Difficult For Highly Sensitive People + What To Do About It

Why Grounding Is Difficult For Highly Sensitive People + What To Do About It

by Irene Langeveld

Being grounded is an essential skill for empaths and highly sensitive peoplewho pick up emotions from the people and environment around them. It means that you’re present in your body and connected with the earth, allowing you to feel centered and balanced no matter what’s going on around you.

If you aren’t grounded, you’re like a leaf in the wind: very vulnerable and thrown off balance very quickly. But when you are well grounded, you are like a big, strong tree. If something happens around you, it doesn’t influence you so much and you are able to feel much more peaceful and balanced in your daily life.

There are many ways to ground yourself. Any physical activity (sports, walking, dancing, gardening, etc.) will automatically ground you. You can also use meditation to ground yourself. Just focus your attention on your body. Start at your crown and move downward with your attention, feeling every part of your body.

Then imagine an energetic connection (a chord, a tube, or the roots of a tree) coming out of your feet, into the earth. Also visualize such a connection between your base chakra at the base of your spine and the earth, and allow these connections to go deeply into the Earth.

These are effective ways to help you ground yourself and feel more centered, strong and balanced throughout your day.

However, there are a few situations where grounding yourself can be difficult. Here are the three challenges I see most within myself and my clients:

1. Physical discomfort

When you’re in pain or very tired, it can be very uncomfortable to be present in your body. Grounding yourself asks you to be aware of and present in your body. When your body gives you discomfort, grounding can be difficult.

How you can work with it:

See what happens if you persevere in your intention to ground yourself and be present. Breathe with the discomfort. Send your love to the places in your body that feel painful or uncomfortable. Allow it to be there and be present with it. See if you can feel the peace this brings.

Also know that grounding is a lot easier when you’re well rested. Sometimes going to bed early is your best choice! In the morning it will be much easier to ground again. Be kind to yourself and listen to what your body needs.

2. Emotional discomfort

Something similar happens when you are experiencing intense emotions. Being present with those emotions can be challenging, and grounding can bring up the pieces that you haven’t looked at yet.

How you can work with it:

The problem with emotional discomfort and grounding is that it can become a vicious circle. When you’re not feeling well, it’s hard to ground; when you’re not grounded, you’re more emotionally vulnerable.

The trick here is to reverse that pattern. Know that when you’re grounded, you automatically feel more peaceful. Grounding brings a natural feeling of balance.

So see if you can do it anyway. Take a few minutes to just breathe with whatever emotion is present. Allow it to be there. Allow the emotions to be just an energy running through your body. It will be like a wave: once you focus on it, it will seem to grow and get more intense. When you continue to allow the feeling, it will reach its highest point and then it will diminish and disappear.

When the wave of emotion has run its course, ground yourself again. Feel the peace and your new sense of balance.

3. Not wanting to be on the planet

Sometimes grounding is hard because you don’t actually want to be in your life, on the planet and/or in your body. Many conscious people have difficulty fitting in into the world because they feel they’re different. Some of them remember the unconditional love that they came from. When they do, it can result in a resistance of life on Earth. That can make grounding very difficult, because grounding connects you to the Earth.

How you can work with it:

Healing or integrating this part of you that doesn’t want to be here takes time. It has many layers to it. It’s important to remember that as long as you’re here (even if you don’t want to be) you can use the energy and the strength of the Earth to support you. Grounding will actually help you feel more balanced and centered, once you get through the resistance.

So that’s it. I hope these tips help you move through any resistance and help you feel more grounded, centered and balanced in your daily life.

Benefits of meditation

Nassim Haramein's photo.

If you want to tap into the infinite unified field of the universe, maybe it would help to align your physical body with the fundamental underlying geometric structure of the building blocks of the fabric of the vacuum of space (a tetrahedron) since space is the one this that is everywhere you go, all at once and connects all things.

Perhaps it would make sense to act like the fundamental dynamic of the universe on all scales by creating a Torus structure in your personal energy field by curling it toward stillness in the center of your heart like the stillness in the eye of a hurricane. Maybe even pull the universe in, spiraling toward stillness and then push it back out again, only to repeat the cycle over and over… (breathing)…
