We’re taught to not deal with negative emotions fully, but to seek ways to distract ourselves from them. Through TV, computers, food, work, drugs, all these are types of addictions, ways of dealing with negative emotions by distracting ourselves. The emotions aren’t cleared at all, but simply pushed into the unconscious. It’s like cleaning your house by sweeping all the dirt under the rug. It’s all still there, it’s just unseen.” Unknown
By walking in nature, and breathing deep, being grateful, relaxing, meditating, and praying everyday we can release these negative feelings. This keeps our immune system strong and help prevent or help cure illnesses like depression, high blood pressure, asthma, heart disease and more. It helps to smile to be happy!
